Choose the months of March to May, and September to November for mild temperatures and moderate crowds. If you go in autumn, you will get to enjoy the olives and grape harvests.
If on the other hand, you prefer sunnier days, choose the months of June to August. A visit in the month of July is the perfect occasion to see the enchanting Provence lavender fields.
Luberon is at your fingertips with flights to one of the many nearby airports such as the one in Marseille, Avignon, Nimes or Montpellier.
You could even fly to an airport in Paris. From here, take a high speed train to Avignon, then finish the journey by car.
